Brief: Create blackletter in illustrator, make sure your type is the same weight between characters and kerning remains optically evenly throughout the word. Apply a background that complements the blackletter type.

Blackletter was one of my favorite projects this year. Having seen it and enjoyed it for most of my life learning the process and then following the dynamic layout to make the type created a wonderful end result with my daughter Valkyrie sharing her little bird.
